This field of enquiry attends to consumer behavior and sales strategies from the perspective of psychology. Its focus lies on the behavior and experiences of people in the role of potential customers, consumers, investors, or sales partners within a given market (e.g. customer satisfaction, brand management). Other key topics include price setting, pricing policy, selection of trade channels. Developing and implementing advertisement and sales strategies as well as consumer protection are of primary concern.
